afro blue
The first set is interesting: a low-key mellow start with Steve sticking to lap steel and Greg on percussion but no drum kit. Afro Blue is a stunning version with someone (Chip?) on marimba and Mitch Stein on electric piano, with some really focused soloing from all. The rest of the set doesn't really catch fire, though. The other two sets are Zero as we know them, and it's a typically nice but mellow evening. There are some sparks here and there, but nothing really heavy. The Afro Blue, though, is most definitely worth a listen!
